Fanfic: Max and Miriya were on board one of the ARMD ships in space after they’ve escorted a shuttle carrying food supply from Macross City. While they were up there, Commander Chase contacted the ARMD to inform them that Zeraal’s shuttles were loading supplies of protoculture from one of the Zentreadi cruisers. “This is Base 6 calling ARMD 4. We were suspecting that Zeraal may have made a deal with the cruiser for protoculture supplies. Send some fighters to investigate.” Commander Alex Abraham was the Commanding officer in charge on board the ARMD 4.  
He went to the docking bay and saw the blue and red veritechs were on standby. He smiled and asked one of the security personnel to page the Sterlings to see him in the conference room right away. Minutes later, they reported themselves as ordered. “Commanders, I’ve received a transmission from Base 6 saying that there are six shuttles loaded with protoculture, of course, with compliments from our friendly Zentreadi cruiser belonged to Zeraal. I want the two of you to fly there and identify them. If they show any hostility, then you have my permission to engage.” 
The Sterlings saluted before leaving the conference room and headed towards the docking bay. “Well Max, another skirmish I guess.” “That’s our job Miriya.” They boarded their armored veritechs and were placed on the launch pad on top of the ship. Their fighters were tilted about 45 degrees before they hit their thrusters. After their take off, they immediately proceed towards the Cruiser which was just a few minutes away.  
Miriya switched her tech channel to the shuttles frequency and spoke to them in Zentreadi telling them to identify themselves and their purpose. They responded by sending out their battle pods and the Shuttles were leaving in a big hurry. Commander Chase came on their tech channel ordered them to destroy the shuttles before they escape. “Max, you take care of the shuttles, I’ll take care of the pods.” Max nodded and engaged the shuttles. 
After the shuttles had been disposed, the cruiser engaged its turrets towards the ARMD 4. “Miriya, it’s a mutiny! We must take out the turrets before it destroys the ARMD 4!” “Copy that Max. You’ll take the top ones and I’ll deal with the lower ones.” It took them minutes to disarm the cruiser and called ARMD 4 to send in back up to board the cruiser.  
Moments later, ARMD 3 and 5 arrived and sent their battloids and destroids units to enter and arrest the Zentreadi personnel who were involved in the act of mutiny. “This is Commander Sterling, all threats disabled.” “Good work Commander. You may return home whenever you’re ready.” Max and Miriya jettisoned their armors and engaged their heat shields as they started their reentry sequences.
