A/N: Ok, I am running out of things to say, so just read the damn story, oh and I don't own Robotech or anything or any of the characters affiliated with it. Don't sue me please.

Lisa awoke with unusual warmth next to her and opened her eyes to see Rick sleeping next to her. She looked him over and realization came washing over her as she remembered what had happened. The smiled as she moved a lock of hair out of his face.

Rick stirred and Lisa pulled her hand back, and giggled as Rick made a growling noise and rolled over. Lisa stretched under the covers and decided she would get up and get some coffee ready. Lisa got out of bed careful not to wake Rick and made her way for her robe and put it on. She made her way to the bathroom and brushed her teeth and got herself ready, an then decided that Rick would sleep later and got a bath ready.

Lisa stepped out of the shower and looked at her watch and was surprised to see that she had been in the bath for forty-five minutes and hurried and got ready. She walked out in her robe and smelled something good coming from the kitchen and walked in to find a shirtless Rick Hunter cooking over her stove and it brought a smile to her face.

She walked up to Rick and threw her arms around his shoulders and nuzzled his neck causing him to jump a little, "I didn't gear you coming," Rick said tending to his eggs and moving quickly to the biscuits in the oven.

Lisa sat back and noticed he had made coffee and walked over to it and poured herself a cup and sat down at her table and watched Rick work. She had to admit he was good at what he was doing and she admired his toned upper body as he worked. An she thought back to only a few months ago to when all this seemed like an impossibility and that she dreaded that she would never get to be with him.

Then her thoughts drifted back to last night and a smile crossed her face as she remembered. Lisa kept the smile on her face and Rick turned back and looked at her, "You ok?" Rick asked her reading the smile knowing what she was thinking. Rick thought back to last night.

Rick smiled and remembered last night when he found out that it had been Lisa's first time. An he wondered why someone like Lisa who was so attractive would still be a virgin after twenty some odd years on Earth and beyond.

Rick put the finishing touches on the eggs and pulled the biscuits and got the bacon off the griddle and served them up to Lisa and set himself out some. As he sat down he saw Lisa with a glowing look on her face. Rick could see he had done a good job with the food and had also done a good job last night.

Lisa ate her food quickly leaving Rick behind to finish by himself and he stopped and gave her a questioning look, "You always eat so fast?" Rick asked and put down his fork, "there's more if you want some, and I made plenty." Lisa shook her head and just sat back and watched as Rick finished eating.

Just then the phone rang and Lisa got up to answer it and said a few words and a smile spread across her face, she hung up the phone and flung herself on Rick, "Claudia just called and told me that the Bridge has been severely damaged and repairs should take a few weeks," Rick looked puzzled, "an the SDF-1, the entire ship has been given time off because the support vessels have stayed in space and are on an intercept course to stop and Zentraedi attacks heading this way. That means we can go do what we want for a few days."

Rick smiled too and hugged Lisa to him and noticed how she fit into his arms, she seemed to be made for him. He smiled and was glad that he had decided to pick Lisa over Minmei, Lisa was so much more mature then Minmei and lacked that annoying the world revolves around me attitude.

But as Rick sat there with Lisa in his arm he wondered how the support ships would protect them, there where only three left. "Lisa," Rick began unsure if he should ask her or not, "Lisa, how are the support ships going to protect us? There's only three left."

Lisa sighed hard and sat up, "Don't you ever pay attention? The reason the SDF-1 is getting a break is because two more ships have been built and had crew trained and are now in orbit, so that makes five." Rick looked at her even more puzzled.

"But Lisa, doesn't it take months to make a ship, even surface ships would take months and months. How can a space ship, being more sophisticated be made in a matter of weeks instead of months?" Rick asked seeing if she knew the answer to that and to his delight and dismay she smiled and answered his question.

"Why'll you were napping during the briefing back on Macross, they explained it all. Specialized productions facilities where shipped out to large cities with a strong industrial base and built. An these facilities do most of the production work, like fabrication, welding the pieces of the ship together, installing the systems and they call do all of this in a matter of weeks. These ships are like the Liberty Ships of World War Two, they can be made fast and cheap but still be good enough to get the job done."

Rick had to vouch for the fact that the little Destroyer's could get the job done, that one destroyer had made that clear by taking a barrage from a Zentraedi Cruiser and then firing back and ramming it, and thought it was destroyed, it saved the lives of the most important people in space.

Rick got up and walked with Lisa over to the couch and sat down with her, "Lisa stay here I am going to go back to my place and change and get ready and we are going to go out for a day on the town." Lisa smiled she liked that idea.

Rick got up and left after promising to be back soon as possible and Lisa inhaled deeply and walked to her room and found a attractive pink and white print sun dress and put it on with a pair of slip on shoes. She looked at herself in the mirror and gave an approving nod.

Lisa went and got her small handbag and sat down at her couch and waited for Rick to get back. She looked at her watch and saw that it had been twenty minutes since he had left and she decided to swing by his place and see what was taking him so long.

Lisa walked out and walked the short distance to Rick's quarters and saw to her utter horror Minmei all over Rick, not in a sexual way but in a grabby sort of clingy way and as Lisa rounded the corner more she saw that there where camera's there and saw and heard a reporter shove a mic in Rick's face, "Is it true that you and Miss Minmei got married in the hull of the SDF-1 during your twelve days trapped?"

The look on Rick's face was utter shock and surprise, "Well...no, well we did but it was just a mock wedding it wasn't really a wedding." Rick managed out still wearing that shocked face and another reporter got in his face and shoved a mic into his face, "Are the rumors true that you are involved with another woman?" Rick shook his head and answered the question firmly, "Yes," the reporters buzzed and noticed that Minmei seemed to loosen from Rick.

Lisa was getting madder and madder by the minute; these reporters had jumped Rick when Minmei had made her move on Rick. Lisa decided now was the time to make her move onto the scene and took a deep breath and composed herself and rounded the corner.

Minmei saw Lisa come round the corner and got frantic; she decided to do something to take the attention away from Lisa and grabbed the still shocked Rick and pulled him into a kiss. The reporters gasped and turned the cameras to Rick and Minmei. Lisa saw all this and felt an un- controllable rage well up inside her. Rick managed to pull out of the kiss panting heavily.

Lisa stormed up to Rick and with all her might pulled him into yet another kiss for the cameras and this time instead of rigid and cold, Rick returned the kiss with warmth and passion. An anyone watching could see that Rick responded to the second kiss so much more then the first one.

Minmei let out a frustrated growl and stormed off with a shriek and the reporters seeing that there was nothing left to see on interest left too leaving Rick and Lisa making out in front of his quarters. When they broke Rick was the first to speak, "If you want to finish that inside then we can go ahead or unless you want to go and head back into town then we can do that too," Rick said with a laugh.

Lisa huffed and grabbed Rick's hand, "I can't leave you alone for five minutes can I?" Lisa demanded as they go to the elevator and walked in. As the doors closed Lisa pushed Rick against the side of the elevator hard and started to kiss him ever harder. Rick returned in kind by kissing Lisa hard and they started to let their hands rove. But the elevator gave a ding and the door opened and before the two of them could get back to how they were a familiar voice gave a laugh and whistle.

"Damn, would you like me to let the elevator go so you two can finish?" Jacob asked with a smirk. Rick blushed and Lisa just kept an innocent look on her face. Jacob smiled and gave an "ah-ha" that made Rick and Lisa jump. "I know what happened!!" Jacob yelled triumphantly. "An it didn't happen here either, it was last night." Jacob exclaimed with a smile of pride.

Rick turned another color and Lisa started to sputter excuses, "Oh spare me your pathetic excuses, your face, and his don't lie." Jacob motioned, "You both have that satisfied look on your faces, an you only get that face from one thing..." Jacob's voice trailed off.

Rick and Lisa looked at each other in silence, and Jacob gave a laugh, "Hey don't worry about if other people know, it's life. Frankly I was wondering what was taking so damn long. But like I was saying, just be you, go on with your relationship and don't care what everyone else thinks. It's not your job to try and hide your love for each other."

Lisa looked at Jacob and nodded her head and for the first time noticed how he was dressed: in a jersey, baseball hat, baseball pants and socks, and cleats. Jacob noticed the look on Lisa's face and smiled, "I am going to play some baseball with some others." Lisa gave a laugh and Jacob smiled as the elevator stopped his floor and told them good-bye.

Rick and Lisa stood for a second in the awkward silence and looked at each other and Rick smiled and moved his hand and took hold of Lisa's hand. Lisa smiled and felt fire course through her vein, though she was becoming used to that feeling. She smiled and gave his hand a squeeze.

The door opened and two pilots were slightly surprised to find he control officer and another pilot holding hands and strolling around like teenagers. As Rick and Lisa walked by and got some distance from them, Lisa laughed and Rick smiled, "Did you see their faces?" Rick smiled again and nodded his head.

The Terrible Trio sat down at a popular restaurant in downtown Macross and started to gossip. They laughed and giggled and talked about everything under the sun. But one thing they kept talking about was Rick, Lisa, and Jacob. The gossip was that Lisa and Jacob were related but neither Jacob or Lisa would talk about it.

Then there was the gossip that Rick and Lisa were getting into a very intense relationship and to the Trio is was about time. Sammie leaned over and pointed out the window and the others say Jacob in a baseball uniform walking towards Macross field in Macross Park.

They all giggled and Vanessa leaned over to Sammie, "Isn't that the one that gave you lip when the new recruits arrived?" Vanessa prodded and the others laughed. Sammie's face got red and she started to get mad.

Ever since that day they had been trying to get Sammie to go out with Jacob but she firmly denied every time. Kim laughed and nudged Sammie and Sammie got mad, "Okay Kim, then why don't you since your such hot stuff, go ask him out on a date?" Sammie retorted.

Kim blanched and looked at Sammie and saw a triumphant look on her face. Kim not wanting to be shown up got up from the table went out the door and went up to Jacob. He seemed surprised but they saw him smile and nod his head. They said a little bit more and Kim came back to the table and smiled.

She leaned in to Sammie and gave a smirk, "That was too easy, he didn't even try," Kim said.

Sammie rolled her eye, "Unlike the normal losers you date I hear that this guy actually knows what he is doing so he may not be hard to get on a date, but to get to know him better will be harder," Sammie announced.

Vanessa gave a smile, "Well I hear he was going out with that Bowers women before she went insane and went planet-side."

The Trio was silent for a minute and as they looked around they say Rick and Lisa sharing a tender moment as they walked down the street hand and hand and this evoked another round of giggles.

The Trio sat around for another forty-five minutes as they talked and giggled and they say Jacob came into the restaurant with a slightly panicked look. He walked up to the table and put his hands down on the table, "Have any of you lovely ladies seen Lisa and Rick?" Jacob asked.

The Trio giggled and they told him no, and Jacob shook his head and started to walk away and turned back again, "Oh an see you on Friday Kim," Jacob winked as he walked out of the restaurant. The Trio giggled and again and Vanessa piped up, "You know he is a lot better looking in real life then he does from behind the visor in his VT."

Jacob ran up to the secondary bridge and found Gloval and asked him to call out for Lisa and Rick. Gloval looked at Jacob but did as he asked and sent out a call over the PA system for Rick and Lisa to report to the secondary ready room.

Jacob ran to the barracks and jumped into his spare uniform in his locker and ran to the ready room. There he met his friend from a long time ago, Steven Cymry and gave him a pat on the back.

"So are you sure?" Jacob asked

Steven nodded his head, "Yeah I am positive, no doubt."

Jacob groaned and shook his head as the doors opened and Lisa and Rick walked in, "Lisa, Rick, I have some bad news." Lisa raised an eyebrow and Rick brought Lisa closer to him, "Riber is making his move, and I felt that I should let you know so you can be ready."

A/N: Yes I know a rushed chapter but I had a lot to clear out. Anyway enjoy and R&R.
