Chapter 6

“Hello Rick.” Lisa said.

Rick just stared at her not knowing what to say. She was beautiful as he remembered. But thats not what shocked him it was the bundle in her arms.

“Ah whats that?” He asked her

“This is you daughter. Her name is Grace. I would have told you sooner but you where hard to get a hold of. I hope you are not mad at me.” Lisa said very worried at Rick silence.

Rick didn't no what to say but he shock his head no. To be honest Rick was very happy. Lisa had given birth to his child. His dreams where coming true. There was the woman he loved holding there child. He was shocked but very happy.

“I am sorry that I was not here for you Lisa.” Rick said with a sad tone..

“It ok. And do you know why it is?”

Rick shock his no. But deep down inside he know why. He just had to her it from Lisa himself.

“Because she is yours, and she was made out of our love for each other.” Lisa said.

Rick finally came to his senses and let Lisa in. When she walk in Lisa handed Rick his daughter. Rick held his little girl and after just one look at her he was in love with her. She had her mother's green eye and hair color. She had Rick nose and skin tone. Just one look at her and Rick know that this little thing was the answer to a lot of things.

“Does everyone know its mine?” Rick asked

“Yes silly everyone knows. I didn't even try to hide it from anyone. I was so proud to be having your baby.” she answered him

“Know wounder he got this place for me. I thought it was a bit big for just me. Roy had this smirk and his face the whole time since he picked me up. Now I know why.”

“I told Roy not to tell you. I wanted to suprise you my self. Besides he didn't find this place I did.”

“Sweetie you did indeed, and I could never be happier. In fact I have something for you.” Rick said as he bent down to kiss Lisa..

“Lisa Thanks you so much for this gift. I wish there was something I could do for you.” Rick said

“You already have. Your back home with us now. And that the best gift you could give me.”

Rick thought of one thing to make this complete. He handed Grace back to Lisa and told her to stay right there. Rick ran into his room. He started unpacking his stuff. Well not really unpacking but more like throwing it all over the place. Lisa sat in the living room wondering what he was up to. After about five minutes he came back out.

Rick walked up to Lisa and got down on one knee if front of her. Lisa was speechless. She never thought that his was going to happen. They both loved each other but she didn't think the Rick would be ready for this.

“Lisa Hayes will you do me the honor of being my bride?” Rick asked he and opened a box that he had in his hands.

Lisa put her hand up to her mouth and started to cry when Rick opened the box and showed her the ring. She couldn't speak this was more then she could hope for. She long for the day when Rick could purpose to her. And now it was happening. She couldn't speak but just nodded her head yes. Rick put the ring on her finger had hugged her tightly. They looked into each other eyes and then started kissing. Then Rick kiss his little girl.

Being Rick didn't have much in the way of furniture they went to stay at Lisa place. Rick helped Lisa put Grace to bed. Then they retired to Lisa bed and started cuddling. Lisa looked into Rick's eyes His baby blue eyes shined with such love and pride. It made her happy to see him like this. Rick leaned his head down and kissed her on the forehead. Lisa just buried her face into his chest. She wrapped her arms around him and held him tight never wanting to let go and now her dreams have come true. She was going to be Mrs Rick Hunter. Everything was right in her world.

“I love you.” Lisa said with her face still in his chest.

“I love you too, And Thank you” Rick said rubbing her back.

Lisa didn't even have to ask why he was thanking her. Lisa moaned with pleasures of Rick touching her. Then they feel asleep wrapped in each other arms.

The next morning Lisa walk into the control room and Claudia and the trio noticed something different about Lisa but could not quit put there fingers on it. Everyone on base knew that Rick was back . But there was something different. It wasn't till she came to her station and reached for an overhead panel when Claudia saw it.

“Oh my god.” Claudia exclaimed. And ran up to Lisa.

“What?” Lisa said looking at her funny.

“Is that what I thing it is?” Claudia asked grabbing Lisa left hand.

Lisa just gave her a big smile and nodded yes.

“When?”

“Last night when I went to introduce Rick to Grace I think he planned it before I told him.” Lisa said

By now the trio where looking at them from there stations. They had not seen the ring yet. They just had to know what was going on.

“What is it Claudia?” Sammie asked with anticipation.

“Rick purposed to Lisa last night.”

With that the trio got up and ran to Lisa and gave her a combined hug.

“Congratulation Lisa.” They all said at once.

“So when is the wedding?” Kim asked.

“I don't know.” Lisa started but Claudia interrupted.

“Now how is she suppose to know she just got engaged last night. Give the woman a break.”Claudia snapped.

Lisa looked at her friend and smiled a thank you. Claudia return a smile to her friend. The trio was just yammering away.

“Ok we got work to do.” Claudia said.

The trio went back to there stations and everything was business as usual. By lunch time the whole base know about Lisa engagement. Even Admiral Gloval congratulated Lisa. Which meant a lot to her. Lisa walked around the base like she was on cloud nine. Lisa was in her office after launch doing some paperwork when her phone rang.

“Capitan Hayes.” She answered.

“Soon the will be Capitan Hunter.” said the voice on the other end.

“Hey Roy whats going on?”

“Not as much as what going on with you. Claudia told me at launch that my little brother finally got off his butt and asked you to marry him.”

“Yes he did.”

“Well it about time.” Roy said laughing. “What you say you, Rick, and Grace come over this weekend for a BBQ at our place.”

“I will check with Rick but that sounds fine.”

“Ok let me know. Speaking of Grace where is she today.?”

“With her father. Rick wanted to spend some time with her.” Lisa answered.

“Good they need some bonding time. Well I got to go. Let me know about this weekend. See you sis.” Then Roy hung up the phone

“Ok bye.” Lisa said then hung up the phone.

Lisa was wondering what Rick was up to at the moment. She hope that he was doing alright taking care of there daughter, but her thought where derailed when her phone rang again.

“Capitan Hayes.” Lisa said.

“Hello beautiful. How is your day going?” Rick asked

“Better now that you called.” Lisa said as a big smile came over her face. “How are you two getting along today.”

“We are doing good. We are at the hanger now. I had some work to do on the plane?, and before you panic she is safe in the office sleeping.”

“As long as she is safe that all I care.” Lisa said a little worried her daughter being around the hanger.

“She is perfectly safe. There would be nothing I would do to harm her. You know that. Listen I was thinking we should start moving you and Graces stuff into my place. I got the room. So what you think?”

“Ok we can do it this weekend ” Lisa said

“Great we will get started this weekend. I got another surprise for you, but need to come to the hanger.”

“Sure I will be off work in about an hour so I will meet you there.”

“Ok see you soon.” Rick said.

Before Lisa could ask Rick what he was up to he hung the phone up. Lisa begin to get worried what Rick had up his sleeve this time. The rest of her shift seamed to drag by, But when it was time to go she was out the door in a hurry. Lisa practically speed the whole way to the airport where Rick was waiting for her.

Rick was in the hanger office taking care of Grace when he heard Lisa pull up. He went out to meet her with Grace in his arms. When she got out of the car she ran up to Rick and gave him and Grace a big kiss.

“I missed you.” She said.

“I missed you to. Now close you eyes. I got a surprise for you.” Rick said.

Lisa covered her eyes and Rick put his hand on her shoulder and lead her up to the aircraft. He guided her up the steps. When the got to the top he had her stop.

“OK now you can look.” Rick said.

Lisa opened her eyes and looked where Rick was pointing to. Along the side of the plane by the back seat Rick painted Lisa name. Sitting on the dash was a helmet with her name on it as well. There was even two flight suits there two.

“Two suites?” Lisa asked.

“Yes. One for you and the other for Grace. Unfortunately she is still to small for hers but she will grew into it.”

“Rick I don't know what to say.” Lisa said with a big smile. The she read the sign her name under canopy. “Lisa Hunter. Call sign Momma Hornet.”

She turned around and hugged Rick, and kissed him. She didn't know what to say.

“This is the nice thing that was ever done for me Rick. Thank You. “ Lisa said hugging him again.

“It the least I could do. I wanted to share this with you and this is the only way I could think of. Now you want to go flying with me?” Rick asked.

“What about Grace?”Lisa asked with concern.

Rick just smiled at here.“I have it all figured out. You just go get changed. I will take care of Grace. Ok”

“Ok.” Lisa said with a worried look on her face.

Ten minutes later Lisa came out of the office with her flight suit on. Rick watched her as she walked up to him. The suit fit her tightly like a seconded skin. It hug her ever curve. Rick just sat there in the cockpit and admired his fencee. He whistle at her. Lisa blushed when he did this. Rick made a signal for her to spin around and Lisa a bilged him. Rick could not help but notice how the suit made her nice ass even better looking.

When she got to the top of the stand Rick got out of the front and helped Lisa in the back seat . Lisa saw Grace in a special seat. Rick had removed the avionics panel for the back seat and mounted a mount for Graces car seat. Rick help Lisa get strapped in. Lisa garbed him by his suit and kissed him.

“Do you know how gorgeous you look in that suit my dear.” He said coming up for air.

“No why don't you tell me.” She said playfully. And blushed.

“Your are the most beautiful women in the know universe.” Rick said

Lisa just smiled again and continued to kiss him. Rick finally came up for air and finished strapping her in, and made sure Grace was secure in her seat. When he was satisfied. He got down off the stairs and pulled the stand out of the way. Rick climb back up the aircrafts ladder. Rick fired up the jet and headed out for takeoff. They headed south and spent almost two hours flying around.

Lisa was happy that Rick wanted to share this was her. It had been year since they went flying together. The last time was when he rescued her fro Alaska base. She could see his face threw the mirror that he had up front. He was smiling. Lisa just study him while they where in the air. It was nice. Just the three of them. The only down side was she could not be in his arms, but just being alone with him and hearing him breath threw the com was comforting.

The fact that Rick also made it a point to include there daughter brought a tier to her eyes. After another half hour the turn for home. The sun was going down and Lisa could not believe how beautiful the sunset was from up there. She looked at Grace and the funny thing was she was sound asleep. Usually in the car she would be wide awake. For some reason with Rick flying it calmed her. Rick notice the look on Lisa face.

“How is our little angle?” Rick said

“Sound asleep. Which is a first. She must know her dad is flying.”Lisa said.

Rick smiled at her. Lisa smiled back at him. By the time the got back it was dark. Rick locked up the plane and they headed to his house. When they got there Rick made some dinner for them. Lisa was surprised that he was such a good cook. They sat there an eat there dinner. By now Grace was up and Lisa was feeding her and trying to eat her dinner to.

Rick sat on the other side of the table and smiled at his family. His family that was still a strange word to him but he enjoyed the sound of it.

“Lisa I got one more thing to show you..” Rick said

Lisa was shocked at this statement. What more can this man give her today.

“Follow me” Rick said getting up from the table.

Lisa got up and pick up Grace from her high chair and followed Rick. He walked to the back bedrooms. He stopped at a closed door. He looked back at Lisa and gave her a big smile.

“I spent most of the morning working on this room. I hope you like it.” Rick said then opened the door.

Lisa was shocked by what she saw. Rick had turned the room into a nursery. Lisa walked in and looked around. Rick had painted the room in a light pink. He had put up curtains and there was furniture in there. Lisa started to cry. She hugged Grace and could speak. She just turned around and looked at Rick.

He was standing there in the doorway. He was admiring Lisa and Grace. He was happy to see her smiling at what he had done. Lisa out Grace down on the floor next to some toys that Rick had got her. She started to play with them right away. Lisa stood up and walked over to Rick.

“I can't believe you did all this today. Thank you.” Lisa said with tier in her eyes.

“I couldn't wait till this weekend to have you here with me.” Rick said smiling.

“You are the most wonderful man I have ever known.”

Lisa held on to Ricks neck and pulled him down to kiss him. They where lost in each other eye until they heard Grace laughing while she played. The couple turn and watched there little girl playing with her new toys. Ricks dreams had been full filled. He had the woman he was in love with, and now his daughter. Nothing could ruin this great feeling he had. All was right in the world.
