Later that afternoon the show was over and Lisa had calmed down to where she was not crying anymore. Yet Lisa still had a lot of question that needed answered. Rick was giving his friends a tour of the aircraft and introducing them to his flying buddy's. Once they where done with the tour Rick took them to look at his jet.

Lisa just watched Rick intently. Her mind was racing with a ton of question. She hoped that he would give here the answers she needed. Lisa know that Rick was a private person. She remembered that from when they where one the SDF-1.

“You like Uncle Rick plane sweetie.” Max asked his little girl.

“Yea yea. Pane pane.” Was all she said bouncing in the seat.

Rick saw her reaction and laughed. He was glad to see Danna so happy. Rick had let Max put her in the cockpit. He was sure to make everything as safe as he could. Like disarming the ejection seat. Rick was glad he did because Danna was pulling on the cords.

Rick was in the process of doing his one last look around when he heard something that made him mad. He was going to kick some ones butt. Then he got a better look at what he heard.

“MAX.” Rick yelled up to the front. “Danna hit the fuel dump switches. There on the right side console can you shut them down for me. Before we have a more spill here.” Rick finished.

“Right I found them. Is it off now?” Max asked.

Roy and Lisa came around the other side of the aircraft and was wondering what Rick was yelling about. Then they saw what Rick was looking at. There was a leak under his plane.

“What that?” Lisa asked

“Its a fuel leak. Danna hit the fuel dump switches, and it started to pissing fuel out..”

Rick said.

Max grabbed Danna out of the cockpit. Miriya went up and got Danna form Max. Rick walked up to the front of the aircraft. Max started apologizing. Rick told him not to worry about it.

“Things happen Max it no big deal..” Rick said.

Rick Roy, and Max spent the next hour getting the fuel spill cleaned up. Max felt bad for it happening. Rick just kept assuring him it was no big deal. The girls just watched them clean up the mess. Danna tried to help clean up the kitty litter they used to soak up the fuel but Miriya kept her out of the way.

“Ok now that thats cleaned up. I am going to go get changed.” Rick said

Rick headed over to where there was some trailer set up for the pilots. He went in and got changed. He stopped half way there and turned around.

“Listen. Every night after the show there is a party with food and music in a hanger. Beaning you are guest of mine. You are all welcome to come. In fact I would love for you all to come.” Rick said.

“Well Rick We need to get Danna to bed and I got early patrol in the morning. So I would love to but can't.” said Max and Miriya nodded in agreement.

“Sorry to hear that wel we will get together soon.” Rick said

“ Sure thing.” Max said following is wife. Knowing Rick was leaving again.

Rick waved at Max goodbye then looked back at the other three with a hopeful look on his face. Rick know he was leaving soon and wanted to spend as much time as he could with his friends.

“Count me in.” said Roy.

“Me too.” Lisa and Claudia said at the same time.

“Ok let me get out of the flight suit and I will be right back.” Rick said turning back around and heading to the building where he could get changed.

Rick came back a few minutes later. All Lisa could do was stair at him. The flight suit masked some of his features. Rick was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a Black T-shirt that showed off his muscular build that she felt earlier. He also had a flight jacket on with the same patches that was on his flight suite. Rick had another in his hand. Rick walked up to Lisa and put the coat over her.

“ You looked cold.” Rick said softly.

“Thanks.” She said as she pulled it around her.

It smelled like Rick That thought alone made her feel warmer. It also made her smile. Rick saw her smiling and couldn't help but smiling himself. She looked so damn gorgeous in his old flight jacket.

“Shall we go then.” Rick said pointing the way.

Lisa just nodded and started walking next to him. After a few minutes she put her arm in his and Rick looked down at her smiled and continued. Behind the two Roy and Claudia followed. Claudia smiled at the site of Rick and Lisa together at last.

“What you smiling at sweetie?” Roy asked noticing his wife smile.

“Those two. I just hope that neither one of them screws it up. There perfect for each other.” Claudia said.

“Me too.” Roy said in agreement. *

When they got to the hanger the party was already in full swing. Sam the owner noticed Rick coming in with his friend and went to go say hello. Rick saw Sam coming over and headed over to meet him.

“Rick my boy who are you friends?” Sam asked

“May I present Mr and Mrs Fokker both Commanders in the RDF. And this beautiful lady next me is Lisa Hayes the one I told you about” Rick said with pride in his voice.

“So Rick this is the famous Lisa. My dear you are going to have a lot of young ladies jealous of you.” Sam said.

Lisa just looked at Rick and wondered what Sam was talking about. She was starting to get worried that Rick had all sorts of girl around. Of course what could she do about it. She didn't own him, and they where not a couple. Sure he said he was sorry but nothing about being a couple. It was just her wishful thinking that he was hers.

“Now Sam don't going telling lies about me.” Rick said jokingly.

Sam just Laughed. Lisa was still cringing at the thought of Rick bing with someone else. Lisa hoped that no one noticed what she was thinking. But it was hard for her to hide her feeling when it came to Rick. To anyone but him that is.

Claudia saw the look on Lisa face and started to worry that she might say something that she shouldn't. Claudia worries where put to rest when Sam spoke up again.

“Don't worried my dear. Rick has no one in his life but his plane. That aircraft is is only love I think he will ever have.” Sam said.

Lisa was still looking at the floor when she noticed Rick was looking at her. Rick winked at her. this caught Lisa off guard. They left Sam and started looking for a place to sit. They found a table up front near the stage that was set up.

There was a band playing for people to dance to. Several of Rick friends from the Show came up and introduced them selfs to Rick group. A few of the male pilot tried to get Lisa to dance with them but she not in the mood. Rick got up to go get the some drinks. When he got back to the table with there drinks he saw Sam walked up on the stage. He knew this was coming, but he hoped Sam would not do it because Rick had his friends with him. No such luck.

“Ladies and Gentleman are we having a good time?” Sam asked from the stage. The crowd cheered. “I would like to thank our Friends here at Macross Air Base for inviting us to come to help with the celebration.” The crowed applauded. “ Now it that time when evening that one of our own preforms for us.” Sam said

All the sudden a spot came over Rick. Lisa Roy and Claudia looked surprised. Rick just blushed. He looked up at Sam asking him why without saying a word. Rick got up and the crowed went nuts.

“Rick when can you sing.?” Asked Roy smirking.

“Well I have had time to practice.” Rick said embarrassed to perform in front of his friends.

Rick headed to the stage. The guys where all hooting and hauler. Even the ladies where cooing. Lisa felt a bit of jealous in heart. She didn't want those girls yelling for Rick. But once again she reminded herself that Rick was not hers.

“Alright everyone. I guess I got no choice in the matter.” Rick said after walking up to the mic. “There is a very special lady here with me tonight that I would love to sing a song for her.” Rick said.

Rick turn around and went pick up his guitar He started to play and old song form the early part of the turn of the twenty first century. He started playing When It Love by Van Halen. Rick let the band know what he wanted to play. Lisa hung on to every word. It made her heart beat faster as Rick sang it to her. She never seen this side of Rick and she liked it. The crowed quited down. Some couples started to dance to it. All the girl in the crowd where going crazy over Rick. Lisa understood what Sam was talking about when the came in.

During the solos Rick put everything in to his playing. Roy and Claudia watched him play. Roy was impressed at what Rick was doing. He never knew his little brother could play that good. Claudia leaned

“Did you know he could play like that?” She asked Roy.

“Not a clue, But there seams to be some one here that doesn't care if he could or not.” Roy said looking at Lisa.

Claudia saw what Roy was talking about and she smiled. Lisa just watched Rick intently. When he was finished Rick the crowed went nuts again. He bowed and left the stage and walked right over to Lisa. Lisa ran up to Rick and started kissing Rick. It threw Rick off guard but he didn't care. Rick guessed that she had forgiven him. That made him very happy.

Lisa could hear the ladies in the crowed get upset at the site of them kissing. It brought a smile to her face. The fact that she was kissing Rick when all the other women wanted Him made her fell like she just won a major battle.

The rest of the night was a blast the four of them danced and talked about old times. Rick had gotten back on stage a couple more times at the insistence of Sam. Rick didn't care he was having fun. It just nice to here with his friends and to be back home again. He wondered why he ever left in the first place. But when Roy brought the times during the war and Rick could remember why. A sad look came over his face and Lisa notice it.

“You ok.” she whispered in his ear.

“Yea I am fine. Just tired. I ready to go if you are.” Rick said.

“Sure.” Lisa replied.

Lisa leaned over to Claudia and told them that Rick was ready to leave. Claudia nodded and told Roy it was time to go. The four friends walked out to Roy's car. Right before Rick left the building Sam pulled him off to the side to alk to him. Lisa couldn't here what they where saying, By the look on Ricks face it was not good. When Rick walked over to Roy's car he tried to put a smile on.

“Everything alright?” Roy asked.

“Yea everything is fine.” Rick said.

Lisa was not convinced. She know just bye looking at Rick something was not right. She just wish she could figure out what it was.

“You know what guys I am going to just walk to the barrack. I will see you all later.” Rick said.

Lisa heart sank with sadness with the way Rick was acting. Rick had already gave Claudia a hug and shock Roy's hand. He started to walk off on his own. Lisa look at Claudia for advice. With a simple nod Lisa know what Her friend was telling her. Lisa ran after Rick. When she caught up to him All Rick did when she was next to him was look at her and didn't say a word.

“Mind if I walk with you?” She asked him.

“Not at all.” Rick said smiling

Lisa wrapped her arm around Ricks and the walk off together into the spring night. Lisa just watched him. She wish there was something she could do. Lisa wanted him to talk to her but he was the quite type around her. Lisa was just happy to be with him. For now that will do. He would talk when he was ready.

“Rick if you need to talk I am here.” Lisa offered him.

Rick didn't say anything. He just kept on walking. He was to far deep in thought. How was he going to tell her that he was leaving again. Soon then he thought. It would crush her.

'I finally get her forgiveness and this happened. Way to go Rick.' He thought to himself.

Neither one said a word for the rest of time. Rick just walked Lisa home. He was still think what to do or say to her. He had to tell her soon. But how.
