Saying goodbye to Shin was a little bit harder than I hope so, he became an important person in my life, if it is true I don’t feel a pain as the one I felt when Karl left for Mars, it was quite painful. I remember we were in my bathroom lying on bed naked, next to each other, it was the last time we slept together, as the first and last time we actually slept together, which was extremely awkward for both of us.

We both tried to sleep and in my head there was the idea that it might be possible to meet someone if I only have the courage to let them see more than my Ice Queen image… I needed someone that wouldn’t feel treated by me, by my father, by my attitude, that could see beyond my armor, as Shin did, as Claudia and Roy did… it never occurred me that my prayer would be answered with a cocky, smartass and strong head pilot that would do my life pretty interest.

Next day I had shift at the command bridge, with no possibility to say goodbye to Shin in person, but at least I had the chance to do it while I gave him orders for take off, he was leading an squadron of five VT, the first squadron leaving our little island, the first to be assigned to another location.
