Fanfic: The Wolf Squadron was in the briefing room where they’re being informed by Commander Chase of their upcoming tasks. Wolf leader, you’ll take Wolf 2, 3 and 4 with you to rescue the downed Cat’s Eye pilots. Their last transmission came from Flood City. Wolf 10, you will bring Wolf 11 along with you to escort two Sea Sergeant helicopters carrying food and medical supplies to the Towns of Ashfall as they were heavily attacked by the Renegade Zentreadis two days ago. Wolf 12 and 13, you will be patrolling near Granite City today. After Wolf 10 and 11 had completed their objectives, they’ll join you. The rest of you Wolf Squadron will be Patrolling around Graystone City. Any questions?” Everyone looked at one another and shook their heads. After Helena had dismissed them, they went to the locker rooms to suit up before heading towards the airfield. 
After Azzedy and Jack had done suiting up, they went to meet their wing mates at the airfield. Izzy was standing near her boarding ladder of her green and white veritech. Jack had the same paint scheme as hers but his is in red version. Jennifer was under her fighter to check if her gun pod is secured when Azzedy startled her and she knocked her head against the gun pod. Azzedy laughed at her and she pinched his arm.  
“I’m sorry, did I hurt your arm?” Jennifer asked pretending to sound sympathetically. “Nope, I was more worried about your head.” He answered her while rubbing his arm. He pulled her closed and was about to give her a short kiss when she turned away and murmured “Time to go.” He smiled and climbed on his fighter next to her. As he puts his helmet on, he closed the canopy while turning on his systems one at a time. Eric was the first one to taxi his fighter towards the runaway while the rest follow. 
Minutes later, the Wolf Squadron was airborne. They parted according to the orders given during their briefing earlier. Azzedy and Jennifer were heading towards the Granite City as the sun was about to set and they were keeping their eyes out for any signs of trouble. Their flight was a quiet one. Azzedy was looking at his wife’s fighter next to him and wondered. Half an hour later, Jack and Izzy came to join them just in time when Helena told them that the Zentreadi rebels were attacking the munitions stockpile in Granite City.  
They engaged their thrusters and sped towards the munitions stockpile. They saw the pods and the rebel soldiers and transformed into battloid mode the moment they were above the stockpile. Each of them stood on every single corner to fend off the enemy. While they were engaging the enemy, Helena came on their tech screens once again.  
“Wolf 10, some of the renegade Zentreadis were also seen in the middle of the town. See to it that they’re not planning to cause any trouble.” Azzedy was busy fending off the enemy when Jack came on his tech channel. “Eddy, why don’t you and your miss go on and check things out downtown. Izzy and I will take care of things here.” “Are you sure Jack?” Jack’s smirked was enough to make him to have confidence in him. “Jenny, you heard the man, let’s go.” They switched into guardian mode and flew towards the centre of Granite City. 
Before they got there, Helena came on their tech channel to update them on the situation. “Those rebel Zentreadis were heading into the old battlecruiser and they’ve activated the reflex weapons. You must disarm all turrets or the whole city will be destroyed!” “Not on my shift.” As they approach the location, they saw an old cruiser buried half way down in a lake in the centre of the city. The turrets were firing wildly towards the city. “Jenny, I’ll take the north and you’ll take the south.” They switched back to battloid mode and fired upon the turrets while using the buildings for cover. 
Azzedy used his strafe and fire tactics while Jennifer was using her ‘I’m coming through’ tactics. Moments later, the turrets were disarmed. The rebel Zentreadis abandoned the cruiser and decided to continue the fight with their fire arms. Azzedy used his booster and hovered above them so that he could shoot them with a clear view. Their blasters only could scratch the veritechs. “Jenny my side is clear. How’s your area?” Jennifer was clearing her side when one of the rebels took her down hard and dropped her gun pod. When she tilted her battloid’s head up, she saw the rebel was about to smash her cockpit but she quickly engaged her booster. The rebel fell on his back and she managed to grab her gun pod.  
Four scavangers were charging towards her but she used her gun pod to beat the life out of them. Azzedy saw it and moved his battloid towards her position. After they were beaten by her, she aimed her gun pod towards them and fired at every single one of them endlessly until Azzedy came and pushed her gun pod upwards. “That’s enough Jenny!” Now he tries to sound as calm as possible despite still feeling scared looking at how his wife behaved. He had never seen her acting like this ever since they first met. 
“Are you okey?” She didn’t answered him instead, she re attached the gun pod to her forearm and contacted Base 6. “Wolf 13 to base. Enemy hostile has been cleared. They don’t look like scavengers looking for supplies though.” “You’re right, they’re more interested in destruction than stealing supplies. This attack was a well planned assault. Regroup with Wolf 10 and 11 then return to base.” “Yes ma’am.”  
She told Eddy the orders and they switched back to fighter mode to meet up with Jack and Izzy before heading back to base. Jack and Izzy switched into fighter modes and joined their friends heading home. Jack came on their tech channels with a smirk. “So, what took you guys so long? I was gonna doze off for a moment.” Jennifer just stared at him as Jack switched his channel to Izzy’s. 
As soon as they had landed, Azzedy waited for her to come down by her ladder as Izzy pulled Jack away from the airfield. As soon as she got down, Azzedy was about to give her a hug when she roughly pushed him away. That had pulled the trigger in Azzedy’s patience and raised his voice a little. “Why is it so hard for you to tell me what is going on in your head?!” Jennifer was surprised because he had never raised his tone towards her before. “Oh, I get it. Now you can raise your tone to me because you’ve found someone better is that it?!” Azzedy was about to hold her hand when she accidentally slapped him across the face while releasing her hand from his. The flight crew attendants for their fighters walked away when they saw what happened. 
As they were left alone on the airfield, Jennifer felt that her hands were as cold as ice after what she had done. Azzedy looked at her and gave her a disappointed smile. “Looks like my marriage is going down the drain after all.” He was about to leave when Jennifer shouted at him. “Why did you do it?! Why did you marry me when you still have feelings with someone else especially someone you’ve just met?!” Azzedy stood in front of her and looked directly into her eyes. She braved herself and looked up towards her husband’s eyes. “Are you having an affair with Chase?” She asked him softly this time. All the anger had been replaced with relief as Azzedy’s laughter burst out and sat on the floor. Jennifer was looking annoyed by his act. “What’s so funny?”  
“You thought, I, me and Chase, together?” he said while controlling his laugh. Jennifer stood in front of him looking embarrass. He stood up and pulled his wife into a hug. “No, I don’t have an affair with her now or anyone else. Clear?” “But I saw the two of you were busy talking that you didn’t even realize I’m there. And the time when our first time reporting in to her, you were staring right at her.” Azzedy kissed her forehead and looked into her eyes. “First of all, we were just talking about her first encounter with Jack ‘The Giant Killer’ Archer. Secondly, actually I was expecting her to be as old as Lisa.” 
She hugged him tightly and sobbed in his shoulder. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry for accusing you. It’s just that I can’t afford to lose you.” He held her shoulders and wiped away the tears from her face. “That’s okay. Honestly, I thought that you might have an affair with Hiro.” She slapped his shoulder and laughed. “I love you sweetie no matter what.” He looked at her eyes and was about to kiss when Jack and Izzy came by. 
“Sorry, we’re looking for two pilots who were supposed to meet us at the mess hall five minutes ago. If you see them please tell them that they only have thirty minutes until reporting in.” Izzy pulled him as they laughed together. Jennifer looked at her husband while wiping her face. “Shall we go and change?” Her husband nodded and they left the airfield together.
